Shenandoah County Reckless Driving: Too Short recently made the news by choosing to go to jail rather than complete the terms of his probation. This was the resolution of a 2013 DUI arrest where an apparently intoxicated Too Short attempted to evade law enforcement on foot. As that case wound through the legal system, Too Short’s lawyers were able to get six charges, including felony drug possession dropped, in exchange for a guilty plea to DUI. Under that agreement, the Court ordered Too Short to complete some community service, drug/ alcohol education and have three years of probation. Too Short apparently violated the terms of that probation and the Court withheld jailing Too Short if he would agree to complete the required service and do three more years probation. Too Short chose the three years in jail. Due to crowding issues in the Los Angeles jail he will probably be released before he serves his sentence. Given his life style and habits Too Short probably made the correct decision in simply doing his time and getting out from under court control.
